Don't you just hate it when your air box is blown off the throttle bodies? Doesn't it always happen at the worst possible time? One solution is to turn down the boost level but if that doesn't appeal to you here is another. Tie downs can be installed using aircraft grade turnbuckles. My method of top attachment is apparent from the picture. The bottom attachment was accomplished by using 16 gage S.S. tangs slipped between the frame the engine at the top rear motor mount. They are adjusted to that a slight downward force is applied to the air box.
The turnbuckle part number is "AN150-16S" and they are available from Aircraft Spruce & Supply Company (800-861-3192) for $15.00 each.
