I remember before you had difficulties getting a good enough ground so you wired in a 6.8K resistor, and did something with the neutral wire. Just wondering if you still sent the neutral wire back to the ECM or just the light?
I realized today with the GPS disconnected and no neutral wire, bike won't start on the sidestand.
By the way, I tested out my wife's 2005 busa with the GPS unplugged completely, does not set a FI light, and does not run in limp mode. It does seem to default to 6th gear as the limiter comes in at approx. 10.7K or 10.8K indicated in every gear with the GPS unplugged, and 11.2 or 11.3K with the GPS plugged back in, all gears except 6th I assume, didn't try and top it out.
Once I get another GPS built up for someone I am going to test it on her bike with solenoids on but not doing anything as her bike is stock, but to verify that it's not in 6th gear map, if so I guess I will try relays or just wire in the 6.8K resistor as you have.
