Any suggestion what type of stores may carry it? Also, do you believe its worth the effort to use over 100% water?

Use distilled of course. Adding methanol will add some fuel value and a little more air cooling but it is very corrosive and will attack just about anything except S.S. and plastic. You would find methanol at racetracks. Another choice is denatured ethanol, which can be found at paint and hardware stores. Not as good as methanol but not as corrosive.

It used stocked for cleaning purposes, but it has many benefits as a fuel. Water is a lot less maintenance intensive as an additive though

I have a little experiance with alchy/water injection I have an 86 grand national and started using windsheild washer fluid with good results I now use air brake conditioner it is 100% methanol I found this out because I repair trucks for a living and use the air brake cond for truck brake systems so they dont freeze in the winter I saw that on the bottle that it said methanol so I called the tech line on the bottle and they told Me it is 100% . I used to get a small amount of knock retard from the computer with winsheild fluid now with air brake cond I am getting none I hope this helps it is also cheap too
