It's got a Hahn kit, 8.8-1 CR and for the time being I'm running about 16-17 psi of boost.

I know a lot of guys are running C-16, but I've also been told that it has too much octane and there will be a performance hit.

It has been said that the aquamist pump has to be mounted below the tank. I'd like to know if this is the case. My storage area just doesn't have any room for a water tank. I like the idea of the recessed tank but there is no way I'm going to cut my $250 undertail. So I'm looking for alterantive tank locations. My swing arm has room for a water tank hence inquiring about the gravity fed pump.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif...

To be clear on your idea for low pressure water. Boost line goes to a boost operated solenoid to check valve that pressurizes a small water tank. An outlet line with another check valve goes to a tapped hole in the turbo where the air cleaner straps on. That hole has a solid “plug” that you drill a hole near .050’’ Will a NoS solenoid work. How do you flow test to determine hole size. Thanks

Here is an inexpensive way to put together a water injection system capable of 80psi. This was one of a couple of approaches I looked at before choosing the Aquamist system. It could be built for around $100 or maybe less if you can do your own tank fabrication.
The concept is to utilize a pressurized tank but instead of employing boost pressure it uses a small high pressure air pump. This 12V pump is available for less than $10 at WalMart or at least was when I bought one....

I've been looking around at water injection systems and most of them seem to be large and expensive. A cheap solution would be to use boost pressue to pump water through a pressurized container and a jet into the intake side of the turbo. What are the pros and cons to this solution. Seems like its worth looking at until I can get the bucks for an electrice pump driven system.

After a recent injection failure I decided to up grade my water injection system which evolved into a total replacement. The first step was to increase the size of the tank and by trimming out the bottom of the tailsection I was able to install a 50oz tank. The tank then became the bottom of the inner fender. The tank is made from a 10 inch long piece of 2x6 aluminum extrusion and is large enough to support 5 minutes of WOT (that should be enough to get to 55).

<!--EZCODE IMAGE...
